Cards For A Cause
The design and production of this line of cards began nearly a year ago and has truly been a labor of Love. Too many people close to me have had to endure life with this hideous disease. Some are currently survivors... two are not. My Art is my way of helping, of supporting the ongoing fight against Breast Cancer and that support goes directly to the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund.
The Kick-off event, Of Life... For Life, on Saturday, July 1st, 6PM at the Living Arts Gallery, 3rd & Kenosha in Downtown Tulsa, will feature the line of 30 Cards as well as larger prints on the Gallery walls of each of the images mounted, matted and signed to the specific event. There will also be a stunning 24x48 Mixed Media piece (also titled Of Life... For Life) incorporating images from the cards displayed at the exhibition. There will be smaller prints (11x14) of the Mixed Media piece available as well. Throughout the evening, a Video Documentary will be shown on a large screen offering a unique look at the entire process of creating the Mixed Media piece from start to finish.
